Description

    The “Emex”Silicone Wall Primer is a product of dispersion, hydro-soluble based on acrylic polymers, silicone resins and specific additives for preparing the surfaces with mineral base, interior or exterior. The product has good adherence to the support, great elasticity and protecting properties against fungi, bacteria or molds. It is intended for preparing the surfaces prior to application the silicone emulsion paints. For removing the dampness or the existing molds it will use “Emex”Forte Sanitizer.

Utilization Domains

    The “Emex”Silicone Wall Primer is used for preparing the interior surfaces of civil and industrial buildings, new or old, walls or ceilings of different structures, in order to cover with silicone emulsion paints.

     This primer can be used for preparing the surfaces in any area of the buildings, exposed even to excessive moisture. It is specially intended for new buildings, “that still function”,due to the great elasticity of the product.

     It is used as intermediary layer for covering the following types of surfaces: concrete, masonry, lime and cement plasters, lime or gypsum plasters and polishing plaster coats, new or old plasters based on binding materials, gypsum boards, absorbent mineral conglomerates of any type, organic or mineral old paintings, dry, compact and absorbent paintings.

     It can also be successfully used on other surfaces such as: OSB, MDF, PAL, ply, panel, linen, carton, asbestos cement, expanded polystyrene.

     Taking into consideration that the final layer is a silicone emulsion paint, for a correct preparation of the support, the polishable“Emex”Pore Equalization, will be applied prior to Silicone Primer.

     Although there are no restrictions on using this primer, it is prevalently recommended for: “Emex”Interior Silicone Emulsion paint or “Emex”Exterior Silicone Emulsion Paint.
